Object Notes
A closer look at the small forms that give a tabletop visual structure: circles, stacks, trays, edges, and the space around them.

Start with silhouette
A tabletop object reads first as shape. Round coasters soften hard table edges, while stacked pieces introduce height without visual clutter.
Let material carry the detail
Cork grain, wood growth rings, matte ceramic, and unfinished edges often communicate more than decorative graphics.
Keep the arrangement loose
The most convincing still lifes feel placed rather than staged. Leave breathing room between objects and allow shadow to connect them.
